Taking to the Shadow Original for a third time, Saucony and Los Angeles-based retail BAIT present the latest instalment from their ecologically minded collaborative series, "Cruel World". This third drop from the series takes the classic Shadow Original and gives the runner a winter appropriate makeover.
Sporting a black upper in premium leathers with knitted accents on the mid and heel panels, and inner lining. , the outsole comes in icy blue while details include reflective 3M stripe decal and custom branded tags. The whole project focuses around charity — each release with its own — with the “Global Warning” pair standing for, you guessed it, global warning. Having raised $15,268 USD for the charity A Place Called Home and $18,537 USD for the American Cancer Society with the first two releases respectively, the third hopes to raise even more for the Natural Resources Defense Council who specialize in solving our climate change crisis.
